Rebooting Datalogic Skorpio X4 Scanners

Various types of reboots may be required to fix errors on a Datalogic Skorpio X4 scanner.

 

Warm Reboot

Cold Reboot

Clean installation (except for FlashDisk folder)

On the scanner, press and hold the yellow, blue and ESC keys at the same time.

  1. Turn off the scanner by pressing the ON/OFF power button.

  2. Pull the battery latch down and remove the battery pack.

  3. Press the SCAN key and the Reset button in the battery compartment at the same time.

  4. Place the battery pack back in position.

  5. Turn on the scanner by pressing the ON/OFF power button.

  1. First do a cold reboot.

  2. After a cold reboot, press and hold the ESC key and 0 key at the same time.

  3. .wms will need to be set up again.
