MYOB AccountRight Online

MYOB AccountRight is a:

  • basic accounting package

  • very basic

  • limited in functionality. People looking at extending functionality should consider MYOB Advanced or Greentree depending the scale required.

  • Address formatting is non-existent.

  • There is no real concept of batch or serial.

  • Some API issues cause orders to just sit in limbo.

  • There is an API issue with purchase orders. The purchase orders will occasionally not send through because the API thinks that the purchase order is a 'service' type (that is, not sent to us) when it is in fact an 'inventory' type.

You should obtain the credentials of the customer's MYOB account from the administrator.

The customer must be signed up for APIs.

The following information is required from a customer:

  • API username (typically support@thomax.com or similar)

  • API password

  • base URL (the URL of MYOB AccountRight Live).

In ERPGate, select MYOB Live Cred. Then enter the database name, user and password which you will use.
